Vervet monkeys are highly intelligent, social, and curious beings. In the wild, they spend their days foraging, exploring, grooming one another, and solving problems in their ever-changing environment.

At the Dania Beach Monkey Sanctuary, we make it our mission to ensure our resident monkeys stay mentally and physically stimulated through a variety of enrichment activities. These include sensory, food-based, manipulative, environmental, and social-behavioral enrichment — all designed to encourage natural behaviors and promote emotional well-being.

From puzzle feeders and foraging challenges to fresh browse and novel sensory experiences, each enrichment opportunity helps our vervets stay active, curious, and content.
