Ranaissance On the Ocean  (Friday October 20, 2022)
A Dania Beach Monkey Fundraiser was held at Renaissance on the Ocean in Hollywood, Florida and was the first major Fundraiser for the Organization since the Vervet Project became an official Monkey Sanctuary. SeeMyBeach.com Host, Laura Lombardo was present as well as Vice Mayor of Hollywood, Caryl Shuham and other local dignitaries. The Vervet Project Founder, Dr. Missy Williams spoke at the event and a video was featured that included Dr. Missy Williams, Vervet Monkeys, Spock and Betty, Chris Gillette from Animal Planets Gator Boys and Tik Tok media influencer. It was a great event and the first of many to save and protect the Vervet Monkey Colony in Dania Beach, Florida.

LauderAle Fundraiser (Saturday January 22, 2022)
We had a great turnout at our 2nd Fundraiser at LauderAle Brewery. If you haven’t heard about LauderAle Brewery, it is an amazing locally owned Craft Beer Brewery that is a little…well a lot off the beaten path, but well worth the effort.

We were excited when they invited us for our second Fundraiser. Dr. Missy Williams spoke at the event and explained the plight of the Dania Beach Vervet Monkeys and how the Vervet Project is trying to save the monkeys who are here at no fault of their own.

We raised money through  donations and T-Shirt sales. It was a great event and we thank our gracious Hosts, again..
